* Comfortable drives to surrounding areas of interest like Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley and the Southern Highlands.
* Healthy activities like fishing, surfing, swimming, canoeing, golf, cycling, horse riding, bushwalking are all within easy reach.
* Places of interest and/or activity include: Kiama Blowhole, the many local wineries, Jamberoo Fun Park (closed in winter), Fitzroy Falls, Minnamurra Rainforest, Illawarra Fly Tree Walk, Benedictine Abbey.
